Spring 2020 and Covid 19 Response
A note for mentors and mentees:
In response to covid 19 spread in the US, Dartmouth College has moved all students to an online platform for spring term 2020 and shut down most campus facilities. We know that this time offers unique challenges as many k-12 schools shut down temporarily. While we may not still be on campus, our mentoring team is ready to make the best of the situation and bring STEM enthusiasm and education to as many quarantined mentees as possible. See below for more information and happy mentoring!

For Potential Mentees:
How it works: We'll match your child with one of our Dartmouth-affiliated STEM mentors to write back and forth about anything they'd like to know about science or being a scientist. To encourage time away from the computer, we encourage mentors and mentees to write their letters by hand and then scan or photograph them to be transmitted via email.
Get Started:
-
Fill out a consent form (found here).
-
Send the form to Hannah Margolis to add your child(ren) to our mentee list with the email you'd like to have letters sent through.
Feel free to let us know if your child is interested in a specific STEM topic! We will do our best to match them with a mentor in that field. -
Once matched, your child's mentor will send an introductory letter!
