WHO WE ARE
We are a chapter of ManyMentors, a nonprofit founded in 2011 to match underrepresented middle and high school students with STEM mentors to “make opportunities in STEM become more visible, valuable & viable.” ManyMentors uses a mobile app and online platform to connect mentors and mentees weekly to discuss STEM prompts.
Many of the most underserved school districts in the country are located within an hour from the Dartmouth campus. This provides an incredible opportunity for us to encourage and inspire students through in-person, hands on events and discussions. By partnering with the Dartmouth STEM community, from undergraduate students to professors, we bring our passion and curiosity to those who need it most.
What We Do
We use the ManyMentors online platform and mobile app to connect our mentors and mentees weekly on a term-by-term basis.
HANDS ON EVENTS
We supplement online mentoring with in-person visits to partner schools. Visits may involve interactive seminars, hands-on experiments, or discussions.
We work with the Dartmouth and Upper Valley community, from STEM professors to the New Hampshire Academy of Science, to expose mentees to a wide variety of STEM experiences.
